Mrs. Miranda Jaquillard will be starting her fourth year of teaching Kindergarten at Holy Name. She is a New Orleans native and graduated from Louise S. McGehee in 2011. Mrs. Miranda then went on to the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) and graduated in 2015 with a degree in Elementary Education and an endorsement in Special Education. Being from New Orleans, Mrs. Miranda couldn’t stay away from home! She then came back to teach Special Education for one year before joining the HNJ family. Mrs. Miranda loves teaching Kindergarten because she believes it is one of the most crucial parts of development for kids. It teaches them not only basic learning skills, but also basic skills for life. Mrs. Miranda recently got married in April 2019 and enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She can’t wait to meet all her new students and parents!
