We are very grateful to our families for working so hard to keep our campus healthy. Community members reporting close contact and positive COVID-19 cases helped us quarantine properly and therefore prevent COVID-19 from spreading within our school. Please report any exposures or positive cases that may have occurred during the break affecting your child’s return to school by following the guidelines below.
Upon returning to school this Monday, January 4th, we will continue to follow the adopted guidelines below:
Students/Faculty experiencing COVID-19 symptoms will continue to notify the school nurse, stay home, and contact their doctor.
Students/Faculty exposed through close contact to a COVID-19 case will continue to notify the school nurse and will quarantine at home for 10 days.
Students/Faculty who test positive for COVID-19 will continue to notify the school nurse and will isolate at home for 10 days.
Please follow the updated HNJ COVID-19 flow chart for return to school requirements for the above situations.
Individual students/faculty following quarantine timelines from the Christmas break will be contacted by Nurse Abby with return dates.
HNJ will not offer the option to return to school after 7 days with a negative test. If your family chooses to continue to follow the original 14-day quarantine guideline, HNJ will support you through the additional 4 days. Please contact Nurse Abby if you have any questions: adonnelly@
Again, thank you for partnering with us as we navigate through this new territory.
