Dear Holy Name of Jesus Community,
As we approach the end of the year, we would like to thank all of you for your generous support of Holy Name of Jesus School through your gifts of prayer, service and financial support. We have faced many challenges these past two years with both the pandemic and Hurricane Ida, but despite these challenges, Holy Name is growing and achieving and making a difference in the lives of our students!
As Annual Giving chairs, we are announcing a new Annual Giving Challenge called the “100 x 200 Challenge.” We are looking for 100 families to give a new gift of $200 or more during the month of December. The first 100 families to make a new gift of $200+ by December 31 will receive a signed print of Holy Name of Jesus School Alphabet, an original art piece created by Art Teacher Deb Hedrick. This beautiful print features our own HNJ Gator in 26 Holy Name and New Orleans themed scenes.
We invite you to consider a financial year-end gift of any size as we work toward our goal of 100% participation from all of our families. All gifts make a difference!
Giving is easy through our online system, and we encourage you to use recurring payments to spread out your gift over time. CLICK HERE to make a gift.
May God bless each of you and your families during this holiday season!

Annual Giving Chairs, 2021-2022
Dear Holy Name of Jesus Community,
We are honored to serve as the chairs of our 2021-2022 Annual Giving Campaign. As Holy Name of Jesus parents and parishioners, we know it’s important to be a community for others and to support the mission of our school.
Our son Harrison began his journey at HNJ in Pre-K, and he is now a sophomore at Jesuit High School, and our daughter Charlotte is in sixth grade. Holy Name is a special place where we know that our children learn through innovative teaching, receive spiritual formation in the Catholic faith, and become academically, spiritually and socially prepared for high school and beyond.
This year has once again presented financial challenges for the school and our families with the pandemic and most recently Hurricane Ida. Please know that every gift to our Annual Fund is appreciated and will add up to make a difference for our children.
Our Annual Giving Campaign seeks to raise funds that will go directly to supporting the school's operating budget. Gifts to the Annual Fund are an investment in our Mission. Your gift will help us with:
Your gift to Holy Name of Jesus School will make a difference! We encourage you to view our Annual Giving Gift Catalog to learn more about what your gift will support. As you prayerfully consider your gift, please keep in mind that the cost to educate one student at Holy Name is $892 more than our annual tuition.
We invite all parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, alumni, parishioners and friends to participate! Giving is easy this year, so please share with your family, friends, and other supporters of HNJ School. Through our partners at ParishSoft, anyone can now make an online donation and even set up recurring gifts.
Thank you for your consideration, and may God bless each of you and your families!
Sincerely,
Ricky & Cheryl Dietz

Holy Name of Jesus School Annual Fund
For more than 125 years, Holy Name of Jesus School has been educating the whole child--academically, spiritually, physically and socially. Parents send their children to our school so that we can nurture their young minds and endow their hearts with the Ignatian Catholic spirit. This has created a dynamic sense of community paired with innovative academics, which sets up apart.
Each fall, we kick off the Annual Fund to raise money for tangible resources that enrich and enhance the educational experience for all students, and provide campus assets not included in tuition.
As a “Community for Others,” we ask all stakeholders to join us in supporting our mission. We invite and encourage all Holy Name of Jesus parishioners, parents, faculty, staff, alumni, grandparents, business partners, and friends to participate in the Annual Giving Fund.
Is my gift to the Annual Fund tax-deductible?
Yes, all gifts made to the Holy Name of Jesus School Annual Fund are tax-deductible.
Does Holy Name of Jesus School participate in the corporate matching gifts program?
Yes! Please ask your employer if they match gifts. We welcome any and all matching gift contributions.
How much should I give?
We ask that each family prayerfully consider what you can afford to give. No gift is too small, and every gift truly makes a difference. We do offer the option to make a recurring gift pledge and spread your gift out over time. Our goal is 100% participation, so please give what you can to support the mission of Holy Name of Jesus School.
Where will my money go?
The money raised through the Annual Fund goes directly to the operating expenses of the school. Every gift to the Annual Fund helps to offset these costs and directly benefits our students.
Do other schools have an Annual Fund?
Yes. In fact, most schools rely upon the generosity of their parents, alumni and friends to support their mission.
Why should I give to the Annual Fund?
You should give because your participation reflects your commitment to the mission of Holy Name of Jesus School. It will also ensure that tuition remains affordable for all of our families.
Who can give to the Annual Fund?
We welcome gifts from all members of the Holy Name of Jesus School community—parents, faculty, staff, grandparents, parishioners, alumni, foundations, and businesses partners.
How do I participate?
Holy Name of Jesus offers easy, secure online giving through our website. Make a one-time donation or set up a recurring gift through your credit card or checking account.
When can I make my gift?
You can make your gift at any time through our online giving system. Online gifts can be made as a one-time donation or a recurring gift. Please keep in mind that all pledges must be fulfilled by the end of our fiscal year, June 30, 2022, in order to be credited to our 2021-2022 Annual Fund. However, we welcome year-round recurring gifts as well.
