Established in 1891, Holy Name of Jesus School is located in the Uptown
area of New Orleans, adjacent to Loyola and Tulane Universities. Serving
the Greater New Orleans area, the educational philosophy of Holy Name of
Jesus School is centered on the belief that faith development is integral
to our mission and success. The traditions and charisms of the Sisters of
Mercy of the Americas and the Jesuit Fathers, under whose guidance the
school has flourished for over 100 years, continue to guide our mission of
educating the whole child, both academically and spiritually.
